Assembling Your Team - Part Two- Make Sure Everyone's On The Same Page
Assembling your team - Part Two
Make sure everyone is on the same page
From the very beginning when assembling your team you have to make sure that everyone sees your vision almost as clear as you do.
Make sure that everyone talks everyone gets a chance to lay out their point of view and get their perspective on what they think is going on. For a few reasons one you want to make sure they are on bored and know exactly what you want that's most important but also to hear any ideas they may have that you haven't thought about yet.
Always discuss every aspect having to do with the plan you have so they know every step so if they ever need to step up even when you don't think you will need them.
The foundation has to be solid or everything will crumble, and building a foundation requires an entire team at some point , you may start it on your own but a team is needed to make it a success.
So always communicate with your team a few things that you must require in your team being able to contact them at all times and have something sent etc is vital
Must have working internet
Must have a smart phone
Must have a brand new business email set up for only them and you to access
Must have 3-5 references
Make sure they have been productive before when assembling a team for this type of foundation you need productive people so they must have references and proof of good work done already.
Your team is a reflection of you and vice versa is what you have to think about when choosing people , of course this don't mean they won't have their own minds they key is to find people that will challenge your authority when they feel the need but also respect your final say so and decision. A strong willed team that will do whatever's necessary to achieve the success you vision for your dream.
Part three coming soon

Best way to get people to check out your music
The best way to get people to listen to your music is to converse with them , like and comment to relatable things they post of course not stuff you just don't feel but try to see what they are about and what they are interested in or what they think is funny build some what of a social relationship with them. People are more willing to do the same for you which you're interest is your music.
The posts that make people NOT want to hear it is
Go check out my music
Press play
Go support my music
But my music on iTunes
Those are so rude you're telling people what to do , you're telling them to support you when you have not supported anything they post.
You're telling them to spend money just because you said so after being so rude not even speaking but telling them to buy something and put money in your pocket.
And by build a relationship no I don't mean you have to be friends with them on a personal level now but associate to where they now feel like it's not a big deal to stop what they are doing and take time out to listen to and or purchase your music.
Then you posts something like
Hey I would appreciate it very much is you would listen to my music when you get a minute , you might like it if you do it's available for purchase on iTunes
Or if it's free download you say
You might like it and if so it's yours for free download here's the link I hope you enjoy it 😁
People feel more comfortable doing this for you when they some what know you , know of you , laughed with you or shared a common interest with you.
Knowing the business aspect of your career is important
.
A lot of artists seem to have it in their minds that it's up to everyone else to get the business handled, which in a way this is true and it is also best so the artist can focus on what they do best.
At the same time it is also wise of them to take the time out to get themselves in the loop of the business end of things so that they are aware of things going on the good the bad the ugly of the business so when and if there's every a problem the artist will know right away and also be able to give the input on what happens next , the solving of the issue and the after math of that issue etc.
Also for when and if the professionals ever drop the ball because it does happen and if you know about everything going on you will know how to get that ball picked back up and fix it or hire someone else.
Not knowing when the ball has been dropped can lead to things continuing to go wrong for so long there is no fixing the issue.
So be involved as much as you can always get your copies of everything always get dates , amounts lists etc. therefore you are prepared for anything that goes wrong on the business's end which can ultimately make or break you.
